Digital Animator/Designer (1075218SU)

We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Digital Animator/Designer in our Marketing and Communications team. The role is based at the Students’ Union on the Highfield Campus, University of Southampton. 

Working alongside our elected student officers and Union staff, the Marketing and Communications team ensures that we engage effectively with our members to deliver services and activities to enhance and enrich their lives.  

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will create a range of engaging digital content to highlight our services, activities and members for sharing via social media, our website and other digital channels.

You will be required to plan and deliver animated content for the Students’ Union and will be skilled in innovative and engaging motion graphics and video content.  You will be responsible for producing animated campaigns for digital displays, social media and video platforms according to the design brief, as well as collaborating with the other Graphic Designer and Video Content Creator with developing innovative campaigns.

You should be familiar with the Adobe Creative suite of software (particularly After Effects and Premiere Pro) and have proven ability to create animated content in line with our brand guidelines.

You will enjoy working as part of a team dedicated to providing a fantastic experience to the students of the University of Southampton and have a passion for good customer service.

The successful applicant will be working 35 hours a week, which on occasions may include evenings and weekends to cover events and activities.
