Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics (1074718CC)

The Department of Economics at the School of Economic, Social and Political Sciences of the University of Southampton is seeking to make an appointment at Lecturer (Assistant Professor)* level in Economics. The position starts on September 1, 2019 and is permanent (subject to a probationary period). 

* Please note the title upon appointment will be 'Lecturer in Economics'

Expectations from the post holder include: Developing and maintaining a high quality research agenda that leads to publications in top journals and grant applications; teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; research supervision at Masters and PhD levels and contributing to the administration of the Department. Successful applicants should also have a PhD or equivalent professional qualification and experience in economics and/or econometrics.

We will be conducting informal first-round interviews at the RES PhD Meetings 18-19 December 2018. 

Interviews will take place beginning of Februrary 2019 at the University of Southampton.
