Enabling Services provides a wide variety of support for students who have disabilities, mental health conditions or specific learning difficulties (e.g. dyslexia). We are looking for a motivated and proactive Study Support Coordinator to join the team to support the implementation of our exciting new Inclusive Learning Strategy and help us to continuously improve the student experience. Working closely with the Inclusive Learning Manager, your main areas of work will include:

Coordinate and develop our Inclusive Learning Volunteer programmeDeveloping and expanding our groups and workshops programme for students with Specific Learning DifficultiesEstablishing and developing a strong partnership with the library so that there is a coordinated approach to the provision of study support and workshopsPromoting new initiatives on appropriate communications channels and keep communications up-to-dateHave oversight of the provision of Assistive Technology across the UniversitySupporting students who attend the Student Support drop-in service

The role will combine both project work as well as the opportunity to work with students.  You will work closely with our Specialist Practitioners and will need to effectively build relationships with a range of internal partners.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

strong coordinating and administrative skillsproblem solving skills to introduce new ways of workingexperience of managing a fluctuating and often demanding workloaddata analysis and report writing skills are desirable

Please note, being able to work flexibly is a requirement as you will be part of a rota that operates from 8am–6pm across weekdays. Occasional weekend working is also required for Open Days, Welcome weekend and also Enabling Service Transition Days.
