Description :

Do you have expertise in education, and developing those who support learning in schools and other settings? Are you highly skilled in the design and delivery of learning at HE level? Do you have a thorough appreciation of the support needs of adult students from diverse backgrounds?

As Programme Manager you will lead our Foundation Degrees and top-up BA programmes in Learning and Teaching and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). These are delivered on a part-time basis and designed for those who work in learning support. Typically this means students with interest in teaching support roles, including those on our SEND programmes who work with disabled children and young people. However, we are also keen to work with those who support learning in other contexts such as colleges, work-based training, apprenticeships, libraries or museums.

Strategic development of this provision will be a key part of your role as Programme Manager to ensure that the curriculum and modes of delivery are responsive to the changing professional environment. This will mean close working with professional partners as well as proactive engagement with potential learners. You will also be responsible for ensuring delivery of an excellent, imaginative, well-managed and supportive learning experience that effectively integrates academic and professional learning and reflects the latest developments in policy and research.
