Are you looking for a challenging and varied role supporting a professional management team? Do you have wide ranging office and administrative experience in addition to exceptional organisational skills? Do you have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels? 

You will be part of a professional team that works collaboratively to ensure that all members of the Senior Executive Team are constantly supported to the highest level. As the first point of contact to the Vice-Chancellor’s office, you will provide a professional and helpful customer service for telephone enquiries and visitors to the office. Supporting the day to day running of the office, you will have responsibilities across many areas i.e. administrative support, travel booking, mail management, complaints process, diary management and the upkeep of office administration processes.

With an ability to work proactively and flexibly as part of an effective team, you will have a professional manner and excellent communication skills. An ability to handle complex and sensitive issues and information, maintaining confidentiality and discretion is essential. You should have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and a willingness to develop new IT skills. 

The office is open from 8.30 am – 5.30 pm daily, covered on a rota basis. Some flexibility to cover departmental needs will be expected.
