The Wellbeing, Safety and Health Service are a dynamic service with a wide range of activities and functions. We deliver a robust safety management system to the University across many areas of expertise including Health and Safety, Occupational Health, Staff Counselling and Psychological Support, Fire Safety and Radiation Protection.

We require an individual with good communication and interpersonal skills, who can work confidentially at all times and respond to sensitive personal enquiries We want you to work with our administrative team and use your expertise in data input, the maintenance and development of office systems (including SharePoint), database management and coordination and preparation of reports? A core element of the role will involve supporting the office functions of the Staff Counselling and Psychological Support team in supporting staff across the University. Duties here will include receiving clients and phone calls, booking appointments with counsellors, and secretarial and clerical support to the counselling team.

You will be responsible for the administration of all the first aid training courses provided by the service. You will also have excellent IT skills and be competent in using Word, Outlook email and Excel.  Previous experience in an educational or healthcare office setting is required.
