This is an exciting opportunity for you to build on and extend your HR career as a member of the Employment Relations Team providing professional, specialist advice on a range of employment matters. 

The priority for this post is to support the management of complex employment relations cases including disciplinary, grievances and dignity matters.  This will include attending investigation meetings and hearings, writing reports and notes, advising mangers on employment law, procedures, best practice and providing general employment relations advice to managers and employees.  

You will also support reorganisation and restructuring cases across the functions of the University involving TUPE transfers, remodelled services and changing service patterns.

You will need to quickly understand the nature of the different business areas of the University to give relevant advice.  You will be confident in your understanding of employment law and advising on the implications of decisions and able to support managers with business-focused, timely and effective solutions.

You will have either a degree (or equivalent) and be CIPD qualified. You will have extensive relevant casework experience, be an excellent communicator, numerate and have good IT skills.
