Membership and Retention Coordinator (CA0190)

This post is fixed term for approximately 12 months.

Campus and Accommodation Services was formed as a new department in the autumn of 2012. The department is made up of Commercial Services, Accommodation, Central Print Services and Hull Sport. 

The Hull Sport team provide extensive high quality facilities on the Hull Campus catering for the needs of students, staff and the local community. The department has a reputation of delivering first class sport services on both the main campus and halls of residences. Facilities include fitness suites, international standard sports arena, exercise studios, and an array of outdoor artificial and grass surfaces. 

Our strategy of Sport and Active Recreation 2016 - 2019 lead to the implementation of a Sports Transformation Project (STP) that has seen a near £16m investment in sports facilities on the Hull Campus, which is due for completion in April 2019.

We are now seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Hull Sport business team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for aiding the execution of the Hull Sport sales and retention strategy to ensure that all members receive an exceptional start and a continuing excellent level of service throughout their membership journey.

Main duties associated with the role include, implementing and creation of strategic sales and promotional activities to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual net gain targets are achieved.  The preparation and coordinating of promotional and marketing materials including the creation of social media content.  Generation of appointments and scheduling of tour activity to promote Hull Sport services.  Account management, coordination of activity for leavers to investigate trends enabling improvements in levels of service and retention.

The successful applicant will have a real passion and drive within the sports industry, be customer focused, committed to delivering excellent service and be an ambassador in promoting and developing the sporting offer for Hull Sport.
