An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Insurance & Risk Officer in the Finance Directorate's Procurement Services Team.

Directly responsible to the Category Manager, the role of Insurance & Risk Officer is a key role in the Procurement Services Team. The post holder will act as the principal university contact for all insurance matters; to plan, organise and direct the University’s insurance covers; to manage the processing and monitoring of any claims to recover any reported losses, and to advise on insurance risks with respect to contractual matters.

Applicants will have experience of managing Insurance & Risk within a large complex organisation, and will be able to demonstrate the ability to engage with stakeholders and have high levels of customer excellence.

You will be able to work accurately and have attention to detail; experience of managing deadlines and prioritising workload is essential, as is the ability to work confidently and effectively with internal and external people and organisations.
