Description :

Lecturer salary from £33,199

Senior Lecturer salary from £38,460

The School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint to two posts —at Lecturer and Lecturer/Senior Lecturer level — to add to our existing research and teaching strengths in criminology and related disciplines.

The successful candidates may have any research specialism within the field of criminology, with at least one of the appointees reflecting the School's interdisciplinary nature in engaging with criminology through the lens of politics, international relations, sociology, or social policy. Particular consideration will be given in the appointment process to how candidates enhance the School’s existing strengths in terms of excellent and engaged research and teaching.

The University of Lincoln’s School of Social and Political Sciences is a growing department within a University that has established a reputation as one of the most dynamic and fastest growing universities in the UK. School staff are likely to form the core of the University’s REF2021 submissions in Politics and International Relations and Social Policy and Social Work.

This is an exciting time to be joining our dedicated team in further developing our intellectual identity and community. We are seeking colleagues who will share our enthusiasm in this process, and contribute to the continued strengthening of research and teaching within the School. Successful candidates will seek to develop their own and the School's profile and to enrich the academic environment and impact of the School, and of the College of Social Science of which it forms a part.
