Outreach Officer (N1816)

The Admissions and Outreach Team at Lancaster University have developed an extensive programme of outreach activities and visit opportunities for schools, colleges and prospective students.

We are seeking a passionate individual to join the Admissions and Outreach Team, working in the division of Recruitment, Admissions and International Development (RAID). 

With a personable nature and a demonstrable passion for Higher Education, you will develop and deliver a programme of outreach activities for the University that may include projects with a research, evaluation and monitoring focus. Involving some travel throughout the Northwest and UK, you will also raise awareness and understanding of Lancaster University and higher education amongst widening participation target groups in schools and colleges. 

You will be a self-starter with a creative and enthusiastic approach to work. You will have experience of working with children and young people in an educational environment and will have excellent project management skills. 

Knowledge of research methods and an ability to analyse data for the purpose of continuous improvement is an essential element of the role, along with the capability and flexibility to work weekends and evenings.

This is a full time, fixed term role until July 2019.
