We are looking for a creative individual with strong organizational skills, a passion for textiles and who will inspire our students and staff. You will represent our undergraduate textile offer on the national and international stage and provide intellectual and artistic leadership to the BA course. You will also be a key member of the School management team. This role will be to develop, manage and monitor postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. This includes associated operational administration, curriculum development and quality management and enhancement (including accreditation by relevant professional institutions where appropriate). You will work with Associate Deans, Heads of School / Department to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of teaching programmes in accordance with University strategy, policy and procedures, undertake research activity and engage in enterprise activity, influencing leading edge practice. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will be asked to take on additional duties, which will be discussed during the interview.   The successful, candidate should ideally have either a Masters or PhD degree, design experience and a proven track record of academic administration at course level.
