Network Engineer (CSUIT1248)

Do you enjoy working with IT Networking Technologies? Do you have experience of working within IT Network Development or Support? Are you passionate about delivering an excellent IT service?

As Network Engineer, you will bring in depth knowledge of network administration and management to ensure delivery of a robust, resilient and safe networking infrastructure in a complex environment. Bringing skills and knowledge in network security, configuration and management of data and voice systems, you will be responsible for delivering ongoing support and project development work across the University infrastructure. You will be responsible for supporting delivery of projects, proactively contributing your skills and knowledge to ensure that projects are delivered on time, cost and quality meeting industry standards and University requirements.

You will have developed in depth knowledge of networking infrastructure, being able to provide 2nd and 3rd line support, primarily acting as a point of technical escalation for colleagues in the team. You will have knowledge of and be able to utilise industry standard network management tools to support delivery of resilient networking services. 

You will contribute to projects and project planning, providing advice and guidance at a technical level by presenting information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
