The Graduate School at the University of Hull oversees the skills development, progress and examination of about 1,000 research students. We work closely with postgraduate research students, their supervisors, faculty administrators and a range of central services such as Admissions and Student Wellbeing. Our aim is to provide excellent service to everyone. Vacancies have arisen for two part-time, open-ended Administrator posts in the Graduate School helpdesk team at 80% and 60% FTE.

We are looking for self-motivated candidates with outstanding people skills and the potential to develop excellent understanding of processes and people's roles in a very complex organisation such as a university. The successful candidates will advise students, supervisors and managers as part of the helpdesk function in person, on the phone and via email. They will be trained to undertake both complex and urgent administrative tasks around student progress and examination with and a for a team of three specialists and a director.
