An opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to lead and manage the relationship between the University and its Hard FM Maintenance Contract provider to ensure that service standards are delivered in a consistent manner across the estate and that maintenance activity within the estate continues to feed positively into overall student experience

The Contracts Manager will be key in the delivery of the Maintenance strategy within the Estates Department and will be responsible for the effective and timely delivery of all reactive& planned maintenance, management of the Hard FM Maintenance contract, ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and good practice.

The post holder will oversee the delivery of the Hard FM contract which has a spend of c.£2m per year, they develop and implement a strategic plan to ensure the provision of a robust and comprehensive cost reporting and contract management service for all activity covered by the contract.

They will develop robust Management Information (MI) and cost reporting for the Hard FM contract ensuring that the core KPI(s) and SLA(s) are monitored, managed and delivered on a month by month basis.
