Description :

We are seeking a part-time Lecturer to support the training of clinical psychologists in the Division of Health Research. This is funded until September 2023. Lecturers on the DClinPsy Programme spend the main portion of their time supervising the research of trainee clinical psychologists, completed as part of their qualification. There is also some face to face teaching. The DClinPsy team is comprised of a group of clinical tutors employed by the NHS and lecturers employed by the University, with good administrative support.

You should have a PhD in the field of mental health or DClinPsy and have published research relevant to clinical psychology.  They should also have some experience of supervising relevant research projects. A relatively high proportion of the clinical psychology trainees publish their research.

The Faculty provides an environment that strongly supports the individual needs of each employee, promoting a healthy work-life balance. We are committed to family-friendly and flexible working policies on an individual basis, as well as the Athena SWAN Charter, which recognises and celebrates good employment practice undertaken to address gender equality in higher education.

There is flexibility regarding which days the successful applicant would be working.

Informal enquiries can be made to Professor Bill Sellwood, DClinPsy Programme Director (b.sellwood@lancaster.ac.uk) or Dr Anna Daiches, DClinPsy Deputy Programme Director (a.daiches@lancaster.ac.uk)
