Description :

We are looking for a new member of the business engagement team to support business engagement projects within the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The team covers a range of activity, engaging with external organisations in providing expertise, student experience and developing research opportunities.  Example team activities include the arrangement and support of student industrial placements, the development of new technology from research and the provision of digital expertise delivery to organisations via large publically funded projects. The team is constantly evolving, with new programmes becoming active, often requiring the development of new administrative processes and systems.

You will be a confident and motivated individual able to provide administrative support around the team’s activity. The primary focus of this role will be the support of government funded projects which include external partners (e.g. ERDF). You should be able to demonstrate attention to detail, a high level of accuracy and excellent organisational and communication skills.  Experience of ERDF project processes would be an advantage but not essential.

Some further information about Faculty activity can be found on the web sites below:

We welcome applications from people in all diversity groups.
