We are seeking an efficient Customer Services Advisor to join our Employer Engagement Team within the Careers and Employability Service, to help coordinate and promote our offering to students. This post will be appointed on a permanent basis.

This exciting new role focuses on the growth of our employer engagement. The Customer Service Advisor will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of our marketing strategy to promote work experience opportunities and other employer engagement activities to the student body. The successful candidate will demonstrate the creative flair required to appeal to, and engage with, both students and employers through a variety of marketing activities.

Organisation skills and providing administrative support to the Employer Engagement Team, through collating and uploading data, maintaining spreadsheets and databases, booking hospitality/venues and processing applications will be key to the success of this appointment. 

The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, time and project management, communication skills (both written and verbal) and have an excellent understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and Outlook). Experience in the use of databases is essential to undertake this role.

Experience in marketing is desirable but not essential, however you must demonstrate transferable skills, commitment and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

The starting salary is £20,275. Further benefits of this role include the opportunity to join the University’s pension scheme, 20 days annual leave initially (increasing to a maximum of 24 days dependent on service) with further University closure days and access to University employer discount scheme.
