The Winchester School of Art Library, part of University of Southampton Libraries, is a specialist art and design library supporting teaching, research and outreach across a number of disciplines. It also holds leading collections in artists’ books and knitting.

The University Library has an opportunity for a Senior Library Assistant to join the Students, Education and Skills Division.  This is a part time post based at the Winchester School of Art Library at the University’s Winchester Campus.

You must be able to work with minimal supervision, organise workflow to agreed targets, take the initiative in problem solving, determine priorities and meet deadlines. You will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and will provide assistance and support to team colleagues in day-to-day activities. A good level of computer literacy is essential, as is the ability to work with a high level of accuracy.  The principal focus of the post will be support for teaching and learning.
