EPSRC Supergen Hub for Energy Networks

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and motivated administrator to join Supergen Energy Networks hub 2018 as a Project Administrator until the end of the project in 2022.  This EPSRC-funded consortium is led by Newcastle University, includes partners from University of Newcastle, Cardiff, Manchester, Leeds, and supported by energy industries from within and outside of the UK.

The Supergen Energy Networks hub 2018 will provide leadership to bring the community to embrace ‘a whole systems approach’ when transforming the UK energy system. It is recognised that energy networks community would strongly benefit from a more diverse, open, supportive community with representation from disciplines beyond traditional engineering. The Hub will develop research strategies and action plans to advance the community development and integration.

The Project Administrator will oversee the day-to-day administration and operations of the project associated with Energy Markets and Internationalisation, including organising meetings and events, managing and maintaining communication channels e.g. website and other dissemination activities, and supporting the project board. The duties pertaining to the project can vary and require excellent communication and organisation skills and working to deadlines.

This post is part time (7.5 hours per week), with no fixed working pattern; and is being offered on a fixed term with an anticipated expiry date of 30 June 2022.
