The purpose of the role is to deliver Sports Massage/Soft Tissue Therapy to a range of customer groups including commercial, student, staff, and performance clients & athletes.

Applicants must hold a minimum Level 4 Qualification in Sports Massage Therapy/Soft Tissue Therapy. It is desirable that you are an accredited member of the SMA/Institute of Remedial Massage (ISRM) and have experience in delivering massage services to a variety of clients including athletes/the athletic population.

You will be expected to participate in continual professional development activities both within the Massage Team, and with other staff members of the Physio and Sport Science Centre, with the aim of enhancing interdisciplinary team and multi-disciplinary team practise and to maintain requirements of the SMA/ISRM.

The role is part-time (12 hours per week) and working hours will be expected to support our clinic opening times which includes daytime and evening work. We could consider this post as term time only, depending on business need and staff member’s requirements. 

The appointment will be made subject to an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) clearance being obtained.
