Do you have some knowledge of heating systems and general maintenance issues? Are you a highly motivated person? Do you have excellent problem solving skills and a logical approach?
You will have experience of working with heating systems or providing other maintenance working in a large or complex site to diagnose and fix faults. You will have a flexible approach to ensure the service being delivered is efficient and effective to meet the needs of a wide portfolio of clients. Joining the Maintenance team as part of the Facilities Directorate, you will be part of a team dedicated to providing a wide range of support services that undertake effective management, development and maintenance of the University campus.
Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you will be central to delivering a high quality environment to maintain and enhance the student and staff experience at the University. You will be able to work unsupervised, and on your own initiative, within a large and complex organisation, whilst maintaining a safe working environment for all our staff, students and visitors.
