Birmingham City Business School is in the city-centre and successful candidates will work with our staff to ensure an excellent student experience through the use of relevant and inspiring learning, teaching and assessment methods. The Economics team, based within the Department of Accounting, Finance & Economics, currently deliver the following three undergraduate degrees: Economics, Business Economics, and Financial Economics.  Each year, we regularly seek Visiting Lecturers to contribute to a range of modules contained within each of these degrees.  For more details of these modules please refer to the following links: ·       http://www.bcu.ac.uk/courses/economics-ba-hons-2018-19 ·       http://www.bcu.ac.uk/courses/business-economics-ba-hons-2018-19 ·       http://www.bcu.ac.uk/courses/financial-economics-ba-hons-2018-19   Ideally you will combine industry and teaching experience at undergraduate, postgraduate and/or professional level. In your application, please identify your subject specialisms and the Economic modules you feel you can effectively contribute to, as this will assist in identifying suitable candidates as teaching opportunities become available.
