As Clinical Placement Innovation Lead, you will work pro-actively with placement leads, clinical colleagues, multidisciplinary teams and undergraduate co-ordinators to enhance the quality of learning.With an emphasis on feedback, and teaching for medical undergraduates on clinical placement you will focus on early Years (Years 1 and 2).You will provide a specialist resource to develop innovation in the design and delivery of clinical placements, as well as ensuring a consistent approach to the delivery of a high-quality placement experience across placement providers.It is anticipated that this post will generate minimal administrative activity within the bounds of normal diary management.

You will have a sound understanding of the requirements of Outcomes for Graduates (GMC, 2018) and Clinical Placements for Medical Students (GMC, 2011).You will be expected to work with placement leads in a variety of clinical specialties. You will work across early Years clinical placement providers: Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust.Other placement providers may be developed in the future.
