Applications are invited for the above post, based in the Clinical Sciences Building, City Hospital Campus, Nottingham, to work as part of the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre (Musculoskeletal Theme Lead; Prof David Walsh, https://nottinghambrc.nihr.ac.uk/ ) and Arthritis Research UK Pain Centre (Director; Prof David Walsh, http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/paincentre). The Centres bring together unique multidisciplinary teams to investigate and develop novel interventions to help people with musculoskeletal problems. The post-holder will provide administrative assistance specifically in terms of supporting a range of events, database inputting and management, producing resources, social media engagement, and assisting the team with general administrative duties across all strands of work.

Candidates must have a good standard of general education including GCSE English Grade C (or equivalent) and considerable experience in a relevant role; or substantial relevant vocational experience demonstrated through previously held administrative roles. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office,  including email and databases, excellent organizational skills, good attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of 6 months, hours of work are full-time (36.25 per week). Job share arrangements may be considered for this post.
