An exciting opportunity has arisen for a researcher to help develop e-health interventions (using LifeGuide software and the Person-Based Approach to development), in collaboration with a large research team. They will work closely with Dr Miriam Santer (CI), Dr Ingrid Muller (Programme Manager), and members of the Southampton LifeGuide team.

The study is part of a NIHR funded Programme Grant for Applied Research to develop digital interventions for families and young people with eczema. This post is offered full-time or part-time for 11 months. The post will be available from February 2019.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably with a higher degree or PhD, possess excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.  Understanding and knowledge of health psychology or a closely related area is essential and experience of developing interventions is desirable. Excellent word processing, communication skills and a good eye for detail are essential requirements for this post.

Applications for Research Fellow positions will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification.  The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD.  Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
