Research Technician in Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the University of Bath is seeking to appoint a Research Technician. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months, commencing before March 2019.

Research and teaching in the department occurs across more than six sub-disciplines in psychology, including clinical, cognitive, developmental, environmental, health, and social, using diverse methods in a new purpose-built £30 million building, containing 10,000 square feet of state-of-the-art labs for interview, social group observation, EEG/ERP, virtual reality, psychobiology, eye-tracking, pain, cross-modal and computerised testing. We are particularly interested in candidates who have the ability to support a range of research and equipment.

The Psychology department was ranked 2nd in both The Guardian for 2019 and the Complete University Guide 2019 (in association with The Independent). Fifteen minutes from Bristol by train and ninety minutes from London and Oxford, the University is situated in the beautiful World Heritage City of Bath and is part of the GW4 group of Universities (with Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter). Bath is also a member of the ESRC South Wales Doctoral Training Centre.
