Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching) -Internal Applicants Only (CT6383)

With pioneering projects such as Curriculum Transformation underway, the role of Associate Dean (Learning & Teaching) within the Faculty is critical in delivering this environment and leading the development of pedagogy within the Faculty. As a member of the Faculty Executive team, the AD(L&T) will provide clear and effective leadership, promoting a sense of collegiality and ambition, encouraging productivity and ensuring the Faculty delivers its agreed Business plan. (S)he will deputise for the Dean when appropriate.

The Faculty of Engineering and Design has a broad portfolio. This exciting opportunity to support the Dean in developing and growing the impact of this portfolio offers real developmental challenges for the right active academic.

This appointment is for a defined period  of 3 years and the successful appointee will receive an additional responsibility allowance which recognises the broad remit of this leadership role.  On completion of this fixed period the postholder would move back into their senior academic role.
