We are currently seeking a Research Technician to support a CRUK (Cancer Research UK) Early detection funded project for a fixed-term period of 12 months. This project is focused on the development of new electrochemical methodologies for extracellular vesicle profiling for early detection of leukaemic progression. This project is a collaborative effort between multiple institutions, including Oxford Brookes University, University of Brighton, University of Oxford and De Montfort University. 

As the successful applicant, you will be based at the University of Brighton and will be involved in the fabrication, development and characterisation of electrochemical sensor devices that can be used for measurement of extracellular vesicles.  Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in an aligned subject area associated with electrochemistry, biosensing or bioanalytical chemistry. A strong background into electroanalytical chemistry is essential.
