Senior Lecturer salary from £38,460

The Work-based distance learning department requires a Senior Lecturer or Lecturer to inspire our students and assist in the holistic development of our highly experienced and professional Managers. You will have significant experience of managing finance environments, with a subject specialism of financial management. You will need strong organisational, leadership and development skills alongside excellent administrative skills in order to manage and lead your allocated modules. Which will include Finance for the Non-Finance Manager at Level 6 undertaken by our Work Based Distance Learning Business, Engineering and Logistics students and Management of Business Finance at Level 4 undertaken by our apprenticeship students. You should also feel comfortable delivering on at least one of the following modules:

Digital Business and New Technologies in the Workplace (Level 5)Organisation Strategy and Managing Change (Level 6)Digital Communications in a Business Environment (Level 6)Engineering Systems Design (Level 6)Engineering Systems Management (Level 6)Effective Leadership (Level 6)

All of our programmes contain some element of working at a distance with some programmes delivered purely online. You will need to be confident with technology and willing to learn new systems/software alongside an engaging and developmental writing style.

The successful candidate will join the Lincoln International Business School as it launches its re validated Work Based Distance Learning Programmes; Business Management, Engineering Management and Logistics Management. Our degree programmes offer both open and closed routes, developed with our Military partners. We are looking for candidates who are dynamic, adaptable and innovative and who have excellent communication skills. They must have a ‘can do’ approach and be driven to achieve. They should demonstrate substantive evidence of meeting deadlines and should have attention to detail in all they do.

The post-holder will provide expertise in online and face to face tutoring, and will contribute to developing quality resources and materials that will enhance the delivery of blended and online modules / programmes.
