The Mental Health Advisory Service is delighted to be recruiting a Mental Health Advisor. The successful applicant will be based at the newly built Cripps Health Centre on University Park and will sit with the existing team of professionally registered mental health professionals supporting students with significant mental health difficulties.

As an experienced mental health professional, the successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a flexible, hands-on and pragmatic approach. As a skilled communicator, the post holder will be comfortable liaising and communicating with both internal and external staff to enable the best possible outcomes for our students often in stressful situations while trying to meet conflicting demands and expectations. In return, the successful applicant will be well supported within our existing structure which supports weekly clinical and management supervision with the service lead, regular team meetings, development opportunities and peer supervision.  We are committed to providing competitive employment packages whilst supporting the well-being of our staff to help them reach their full potential. This is a fixed-term post until 3 September 2021. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week), however job share arrangements may be considered.
