Come and join our brilliant and friendly team! We are looking for a highly motivated lecturer to join us in delivering our exciting undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and to contribute to our high quality research profile. We have a well-established and popular set of psychology programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and we enjoy an excellent reputation for our research. We benefit from superb purpose-built facilities in in a £30 million Science Centre, and we work across the region with a number of organisations and health agencies.  Putting the students first is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing an excellent student experience through exciting and innovative programmes and research informed teaching at every level. 

Applications are sought from very enthusiastic, team-orientated, flexible individuals with excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and presenting skills. The post holder will deliver core content on our undergraduate psychology programmes and will also supervise undergraduate research projects. Relevant expertise in neuropsychology (particularly EEG) and/or cyberpsychology would be particularly welcomed.  

Applicants should have a BPS GBC accredited first degree in Psychology and a PhD in Psychology (or expect an award of PhD imminently). They should be able to contribute to delivery of the biological psychology content within our GBC accredited programmes.  

Some recent experience of teaching and assessing in HE is essential, as is demonstration of engagement with scholarship and/or research (evidenced by recent publications in peer-reviewed journals). Experience of course or module leadership or development would be welcomed, as would evidence of the generation of external income and a teaching qualification (and/or Fellowship of the HEA).
