Grounds Maintenance Team Leader (ECSR18-15)

Staffordshire University, Estates and Commercial Services department seek to appoint a Team Leader to manage the grounds maintenance team to maintain all the University’s land including grass and synthetic sports pitches, formal landscaped areas and nature reserve, ensuring a quality service is delivered in compliance with legislative requirements, relevant service specifications and key performance indicators.

You will ensure the team maintains its focus on delivering key University objectives and adopt a proactive, customer focused approach in the delivery of services which support high quality environments for students, staff and other stakeholders. A key requirement will be the ability to develop the in-house team and deliver a strong sense of leadership, ensuring the University delivers the very best service levels and a strong engagement to cultural and behavioural change.

We are looking for an innovative individual with team building skills and an insight into managing our grounds and gardens in a sustainable and economic way that does not detract from quality but offers value for money.
