We are seeking an experienced Planning and Data Analyst for a new position joining our small and friendly team.  The department provides strategic management, oversight and delivery of all aspects of the academic and professional services planning cycle. It also provides analysis, evaluation and modelling to enable integrated academic and business planning and the development of meaningful corporate KPIs and planning targets, along with leadership of student number planning across the University. A key area of responsibility is leading the strategic development of Business Intelligence to deliver management information to support effective planning, monitoring and delivery of institutional strategic priorities.

Normally educated to degree level, you will have experience of providing high-level analysis, insight and evaluation to support planning and decision making. You will possess advanced skills in analysing and presenting a wide range of data in both written and visual form, to a varied audience, which will include senior managers.  You will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience of data analytics, relevant software and presentation techniques. The role also involves contributing to and supporting data governance initiatives and you will be expected to help promote data management improvements across the University.

This role will require a diligent and methodical approach. Previous experience of Higher Education will be an advantage, and you should expect to work across a wide range of areas in relation to planning and performance measurement.
