We are seeking to recruit a Chef for our in-house catering operations at our Blackheath Lane Site, Staffordshire University.

Reporting into the Supervisor you will be responsible for cooking a variety of concept foods following pre-determined menus using portion control and innovative presentation techniques.

Your responsibilities will also include creating resource lists to assist the Unit Supervisor in the ordering of supplies and assist the Unit Supervisor in the developing of the daily menus.

You will need to comply with Staffordshire University Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, allergen and HACCP polices and will be responsible for completing your own due diligence records.

You will preferably have an NVQ equivalent qualification in catering, but someone with passion, energy and enthusiasm who is willing to train will be considered.

You will need to have demonstrable experience of working in a catering environment, and hold at least a level 2 food safety qualification.
