Staffordshire University is recruiting cleaners specifically to work within the University’s halls of residence/student accommodation.

The Post holder will be expected to work 9.00 am onward, 5 over 7 days. We require a degree of flexibility regarding the shift hours outlined above, particularly during our busy conferencing season. You will be required to perform checks on halls, undertake cleaning in rooms and communal areas, as well as bedding up and deep cleans during the conference season. You will also be expected to assist with events as and when required. As part of this front facing role, you will be required to provide a high level of customer service to students, as well as working alongside other departments regarding student welfare and support. Successful candidates will have a good knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, as well as experience of providing excellent customer service. You will be a positive individual and committed team player, but with the ability to work independently and on your own initiative. Previous experience is essential.
