Applications are invited for the above full time, permanent post based in the School of English, Trent Building, University Park campus. The successful candidate will have a web and communications portfolio to support the development and delivery of the School’s marketing and social media plans with a focus on student recruitment, teaching, research and business engagement. The role holder will be responsible for ensuring all materials meet the needs of our audiences, communicate consistent messages and adhere to brand guidelines. 

Significant experience of working in a marketing role is essential along with experience of creating and managing content, web-management skills, experience of managing and co-ordinating projects with a large group of people, a high degree of initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving are required. Applicants must also have good knowledge of social media and its application for promotional campaigns.

The role holder will join a team of administrative staff working with academic and administrative staff to support the teaching, research and impact activities of the School.  The role-holder will oversee the work of a level 2 Administrator in the School.

Further details are in the role profile. Applicants must be educated to at least HNC/HND level or equivalent (in a relevant subject) and have a good general standard of education including Maths and English GCSE or equivalent (grade C or above).
