The London College of Music to support it's multi-role theatre work as part of the Lawrence Hall technical theatre team.

London College of Music (LCM) is a vibrant and exciting school at University of West London. LCM has a range of courses in performance, composition, performing arts, music technology and music management all of which feature live performance at their core. LCM produces a number of Musical Theatre shows, plays and performance events throughout the academic year that see students from multiple disciplines collaborating throughout the production process.

  Your main responsibilities would be:   To support our venue, the Lawrence Hall performance and attendant production space. Holding overall responsibility for the day to day technical running of the Lawrence Hall space, preparation for classes and performances, assisting in get-ins and strikes, and the running of performances in Lawrence Hall and the attendant production spaces. Responsible for supporting London Collage of Music and external events.

 

The role creates an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the performance environment at LCM, with opportunities to contribute to the continuing development of performance technology at LCM.     You would be responsible for things like:    Basic stage lighting equipment Sound playback and mixing equipment Vision mixing and projection systems Theatre live sound systems, particularly the Digico SD9T Dante digital audio networking   Amongst this, naturally.
