We are looking for a friendly, engaging, enthusiastic person with excellent customer service and IT skills with a keen eye for detail, to join our administrative support team. You will work collaboratively with team members to deliver proactive, confidential support to the Head of School (HoS), academic and research staff and students.

As School Operations Administrator, you will:

Support the HoS and academic colleagues, assisting with routine tasks and more complex projects. Work with the Senior Administration Officer to deliver projects and organise student-related events.Provide a welcoming reception service and assist in provision of financial support to staff and students.

You will have:

Experience of working in an office/administrative environment requiring a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.The ability to plan own work activities in response to differing priorities and meeting deadlines.Experience of working co-operatively with other team members and of working independently to resolve complex queries.A sensitivity to the needs of others and an understanding that every person is important, right across the organisation, irrespective of level, culture, disability or any other characteristic.

This fixed-term post is available from 1 April 2019 until 31 January 2020. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week Monday to Friday), however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
