The University of Nottingham prides itself on the support provided to external partners.  We are looking for an enthusiastic team worker to join the Sponsor Relations Team within Specialist Processes, Student Services Development.  

The role incorporates working with sponsors (government departments, trusts, charities, businesses and higher education institutions), and with a wide range of staff from across the University.  It includes substantial contact with external partners, often at a senior level, requiring a strong customer service ethic, excellent communication skills, the ability to create and maintain relationships. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage a variety of projects and enquiries at any one time are essential. 

As part of a small but busy team, you will need to be highly enthusiastic and self-motivated, with proven experience within the specialism of student fees, payments and funding opportunities and schemes.  The main elements of the role include student-related administration and enquiry management, financial administration (including responsibility for the billing/invoicing of external organisations, complex fee-related queries, third-party contract set up and administration), and data management/reporting (analysis of data/statistics, interpret and report on trends, identify gaps in information).   

With strong IT skills, excellent planning and organisation, communication and interpersonal skills, you must be committed to collaborative team working and have the ability to work independently.

This part-time role (25 hours per week) is offered on a permanent contract.
