We invite applications for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate position to join the StatScale Programme. StatScale is an exciting collaboration between researchers at Lancaster University and the University of Cambridge. The programme will tackle the important inference challenges arising from streaming data. This multi-million pound research initiative is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), the two participating institutions and a number of committed project partners.

The programme is led by Idris Eckley, Paul Fearnhead (Lancaster) and Richard Samworth, Rajen Shah (Cambridge). 

You should have a PhD in Statistics or a related discipline, and have demonstrated an ability to develop new statistical methods or theory in one of the following areas: anomaly detection; changepoint analysis; non-stationary time series analysis, high dimensional statistics, statistical-computational tradeoffs, signal processing and scalable statistical methods.”

This is a fixed term appointment for 3 years from 1 June 2019.
