Description :

Applications are invited for a Research Associate for the Qualified Selves project at the Imagination Lab in Lancaster University’s Institute for the Contemporary Arts. This is a full time, fixed-term post starting on 1 April 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter until 30 June 2020.

You will conduct co-design research within the EPSRC funded Qualified Selves project, which is a collaboration between Lancaster and Edinburgh Universities. The overall aim of this project is to improve how individuals make sense of personally and automatically generated data (from social media to activity trackers to home IoT devices) in order to enhance personal decision making, increase productivity and improve quality of life. The project will comprise a novel co-creation process in collaboration with Microsoft Research and a group of participants with extreme amounts of personal data.

This is a challenging role that offers significant growth potential for the right candidate.
