You will be expected to primarily participate in coordinating level 6 (year 3) module and as such we are looking for an individual with an acute and complex care clinical background who has a strong understanding of the underpinning pathophysiology of a range of health conditions and who can readily explain to students how this may influence key decision making in nursing care delivery. You will additionally be expected to contribute to the design, delivery and assessment of taught content across the adult pathway, including the implementation our new BSc Nursing programme developed in line with the new NMC Standards for Education and Training. You must hold at a first degree and in a clinically relevant subject, and preferably a higher degree; demonstrating on-going personal and professional development and appropriate study around safe and effective delivery of nursing care and evidenced based practice. You will be required to demonstrate relevant and current experience of supporting undergraduate students in practice and in educational settings. Applicants must also hold current registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (Part 1). Previous teaching experience in a Higher Education setting is desirable.
