Based within the Commercialisation team in the University's Technology Transfer Office and reporting into the Director of IP, responsibilities will include formulating and implementing IP strategy for the field of responsibility, provision of IP-related advice, commercialisation of IP through licensing and mentoring of more junior IP commercialisation staff.

Appointees will be able to draw on support from other members of the IP Commercialisation team in identification of new IP and undertaking IP due diligence, with patent prosecution and legal support being provided by the IP management team. Spin-out company growth and development is managed by Nottingham Technology Ventures Ltd and the roles will also entail working collaboratively with colleagues from NTV on pre-incorporation projects.
