The Division of Health Research, located in the Faculty of Health and Medicine of Lancaster University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer to join an innovative department with a high quality research active environment offering a range of postgraduate courses.

We wish to enhance our already strong national and international profile by making an academic appointment to complement our existing strength in employee and workplace health and well-being and to further develop our research and teaching in this area.  Applicants must be able to demonstrate the potential to make a high quality contribution to the future profile of research conducted by the Centre for Organizational Health and Well-Being (https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/fhm/research/cohwb/) and the Division more widely. You will also contribute to our innovative blended learning PhD programme (https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/postgraduate-courses/organisational-health-and-wellbeing-phd/). 

We want to appoint someone who can demonstrate expertise in the field of Employee or Workplace health and wellbeing.  You will either have a PhD in this area, or in a relevant discipline such as Organizational or Health Psychology, (or be awaiting its award, post-submission), and/or be able to demonstrate experience in this field through publication and grant capture.  We particularly welcome applications from those with research interests in intergenerational differences, older workers, presenteeism and mental health. We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate strengths in mixed methods research designs. You will also be able to deliver high quality and engaging teaching involving both face-to-face and distance learning at Masters and Doctoral level.
