The University of Lincoln, ranked 22nd in the 2018 Guardian University Guide, is seeking to appoint a Research Data & Systems Manager to join the Research Environment Team.  You will be part of a team shaping the research culture and strategy of an institution which puts excellent research with impact at the core of its activities.

You will be responsible for the ongoing management of our research awards management system (AMS) as well as for the production and management of high quality research-related data for the University’s leadership team. For this part of the role, you will work very closely with the team delivering the institutional REF return. You will also be the main point of contact for other research-related systems such as Scival or Scopus and you will line manage the key post of Research Repository and Research Data Officer. 

With excellent numerical, analytical and IT skills, you will have the ability to build and maintain highly effective working relationships with customers and colleagues. Aptitude and motivation to develop knowledge and skills of systems, report design and project management techniques are essential. A positive, solution-focused, self-motivated approach will contribute to the delivery of excellent customer service.

This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
