We have a vacancy for 2 cleaners within the Facilities Division at Lancaster University.

Hours are 18.75 per week. These are morning shifts, 9am – 1pm Monday to Wednesday. 9am – 12.30pm Thursday and Friday. Cleaning within student residence.

Hours are 18.75 hrs per week.These are morning shifts, 6am – 10am Monday to Wednesday, 6am – 9.30am Thursday and Friday. Cleaning within an academic building.

All shifts are to be worked mainly Monday to Friday, however occasional weekend work will be required (up to seven weekends a year).

Facilities are responsible for all property services on behalf of the University, including cleaning, grounds maintenance, security, catering and general upkeep of the Estate.

You should be hard working, reliable, willing to learn and possess excellent customer service skills. Cleaning experience is essential and you should be working in a similar environment, committed to high standards, able to work on your own initiative and have a flexible approach and attitude to solving day to day problems.

Knowledge and/or a relevant qualification in health and safety is desirable and you should be prepared to undertake further training and development.
