We have a strong tradition of enabling researchers to commercialise their research through enterprise, licensing, and spinouts.  The University is ranked as the top UK University for consultancy income and has a number of highly successful enterprise units. We have created more than 28 spinout companies since 2000, three of whom have been floated on the stock market. The University is a founding member of the SETsquared Partnership which has in 2018 been rated the top university business incubator in the world for the 4th year running.

The successful candidate will be working with an exciting portfolio that includes pioneering developments in cancer immunology, regenerative medicine, epigenetics, cell imaging, next generation diagnostics, medical devices and drug discovery.

To fill this role you will need to have considerable commercial acumen, pragmatism and a solid understanding of risk management. You will work with world-class researchers, entrepreneurs, global partners and investors to help shape and develop strong mutually beneficial commercialisation deals.
