This is an opportunity for a technically skilled and motivated Network/Telephony Engineer to join a talented team within an exceptional University.

Based in our Southampton City Centre office and main university campus you will be responsible for:

You will join The Network and Unified Communications Team, part of the Enterprise Systems Management team within iSolutions. To be successful, you will also need:

Knowledge and experience of Digital/VOIP based telephony servicesKnowledge and experience of enterprise-level data network switching, routing, wireless, firewall and DNS/DHCP solutionsAn in-depth technical understanding of data network technologies and protocolsThe ability to work with a calm, methodical approach under pressureExperience of Cisco networking solutions would be a distinct advantage

The post holder must also be eligible and willing to undergo Her Majesty’s Govern (HMG) security clearance assessments.
