The University Strategic Plan (2014-2020) sets an ambitious target to grow research funding by 50% to £200m per annum by 2020. The Director of Research and Innovation Development plays a key role in leading a team within the University to support this agenda.
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) who will be part of a professional team that works collaboratively to ensure that all members of the senior research and innovation management team are constantly supported to a high level. You will primarily support the Director of Corporate Relationships and Major Research Initiatives and his team of 5 senior managers, providing a high level of administrative support in an independent and self-managed capacity.
You will have substantial experience as a PA to senior management and possess excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be a strong team player and have the ability to exercise initiative and work independently. Diplomatic and discreet in approach, you will be skilled at managing a complex workload accurately, including electronic diary and correspondence management, the ability to analyse data.
